{Try} Ontario Micro-brewed Beer

Erin’s husband and I have one very solid thing in common: we love craft beer! It’s a relatively new love for me, though, and one that is still blossoming.

This past March I went with some friends to the Railway City brewery in St. Thomas, the operation responsible for Iron Spike brews, as well as several others. I loved their beer so much I bought a few each of several different kinds.

Then, this summer, a friend brought us a growler from a new brewery that had set up shop in a building in Erieau our group of friends had once known as our “cottage.” Now, Bayside Brewery turns out delicious concoctions, such as the very easily drinkable Long Pond Lager.

Here are the gems I’ve already discovered and a few more I can’t wait to taste!

Bayside Brewing Co. – Erieau

Beaus All Natural Brewing Company – Vankleek Hill

Lake of Bays Brewing Company – Bayville

Muskoka Brewery – Muskoka

Neustadt Springs Brewery – Neustadt

Railway City Brewing Co. – St. Thomas (I’m holding one of their brews — a stout? — in the image above)

Wellington Brewery – Guelph
